Our story begins in Modena (northern Italy) in 1965, when founder Luciano Botti decides to open his leather belts workshop, after several years of experience in leather manufacturing firms. The one-man-workshop soon becomes a family business, thanks to the precious contribution of his wife Rosanna.

The thriving and industrious workshop is the natural playground of their son Luca, who grows up among the scents and colours of leather hides. Carefree childhood games turn into passionate curiosity and fuel his creativity, becoming a veritable professional vocation.

All our products are manufactured in our Workshop in Italy, where ideas take shape and turn into precious leather goods.

The research of raw materials is the first step to the creation of a distinctive product. We select our leathers and hides scrupulously, with a demanding eye for high standards, from tanneries in Tuscany where the millenarian tradition of vegetable tanning is skilfully combined with state-of-the-art technology.
